Overview:
This week, we have been exploring the history of helping abused and neglected
children. In this assignment, you will be mapping some significant historical events that
contributed to the development of child protection work.
Instructions:
You will be using Piktochart to create a one-page timeline. You can be creative in
making your timeline by using graphs, pictures, and charts.
Your visual representation must include:
• At least five significant events, policies, or laws that you feel had the most impact
on child welfare efforts over time.
• A brief description of why these events are important to the development of child
protection work.
