Week 5 – Branding

 

As part of your upcoming assignment in Week 7, you will develop a branding strategy that includes designing a logo for your hypothetical company. A logo should grab a customer’s attention and distinguish a company from its competitors. In fact, a logo is often the foundation of a brand’s identity.

For this discussion, visit the Forbes Magazine List of the World’s Most Valuable Brands:Links to an external site. 

  • Choose one of the brands from the list and analyze their logo. (Note: do not use Nike, Apple, or Starbucks)
  • Describe the brand and logo you selected.
  • How would you evaluate the effectiveness of the logo in conveying the brand personality and distinguishing the brand from its competitors?
